How to attract Bees

Bees are an important part of the Organic garden. In their search for food, they pollinate flowers, which will increase yields in many fruiting crops, particularly runner beans, apples and squashes. Some organic gardeners provide hives to keep a population of bees close by, and also as a source of organic honey.

The most attractive plants, from the bee viewpoint, are listed below.
